Our partner, The UNASDG supports the Hamad Bin Khalifa Department of Projects (HBK DOP) realizing a 300Mw Solar Power Plant near Damaskus, Syria.
In Syria there is currently a deficit of almost 2.1Gw of energy today. The project is part of an Investment initiative in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates.
It is agreed to submit project proposals to the Syrian Investment Authority and to close the energy deficites as soon as possible.
